Privacy policy

Nothing leaves your device. The symptoms you tick, the lengths and quotes you enter and the plan details you compare are processed in your browser and are not transmitted or stored after you close the page.

If analytics is enabled, we record anonymous events such as “someone used the cost calculator”, never the values entered.

We may use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful. It collects standard information — pages viewed, approximate location from IP address, device and browser type, and how you arrived.

• We do not sell or share this data.
• We do not build advertising profiles.

Some pages carry an optional form asking what’s going on with your sewer line, your ZIP code and your email address. If you send it:

• It arrives as an email in our inbox (sent through our email provider, Resend), so a person can read it and reply. We keep it there, not in a separate database.
• We use it only to reply to you about your request.
• We don’t share your email or what you wrote with a contractor or anyone else without telling you who first and getting your OK.
• We never ask for your name or phone number, and don’t add you to a mailing list.
• To have your request deleted, reply to our email and say so.

Analytics records that a form was sent and the first three digits of the ZIP code — never your email or what you wrote.

Where we link to utilities, agencies or other sources, those sites have their own privacy policies.

If this policy changes materially — for example if we ever work with a lead partner — this page will say so.
